Dharni

One of the pioneering beat-boxers in Singapore , Dharni started learning his craft at the age of 15 and practiced by busking outside of Takashimaya on Saturdays. As beat-boxing awareness grew in Singapore, Dharni soon got of the streets and into major events and gigs, impressing many with his beat-boxing skills.

One of the few individuals who advocated the organization of Singapore's first 98.7 FM Beatboxing Championships in 2005, Dharni will be representing Singapore at the recent World Beatboxing Championships (2009) in Berlin . He has also been invited to judge for many prestigious beat-boxing competitions in Singapore. His experience includes judging for the 1 st ever Singapore Beatboxing Championships in 2005, Sony Ericsson Beatboxing Competition in 2006 & most recently, Channel U's Asian Beatboxing Championship in 2007.

He has collaborated with various local artists and DJs such as MC Jin, DJ Inquisitive, DJ Koflow and etc. Just last year, he also managed to open for Kayne West's “Glow In The Dark” Tour Concert.
