Soul Excess

The brainchild of Darren (Bass) & Mark (Drums), Soul Excess was born when the 2 guys managed to rope in 3 other long time friends to form a band.

Playing a fusion of rock, funk and pop, Soul Excess managed to clinch Best Vocalist and was crowned 3 rd at Powerjam 2008. The astounding win was a boost to their confidence and convinced them that they could “make it together.”

Citing Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer, Miley Cyrus & Journey as sources of inspiration, Soul Excess strives to reach out to a diverse group of audience with their musical range and catchy grooves.
