The Stoned Revivals

From alternative rock to jazz, surf pop & boogie rock music, The Stoned Revivals have done it all. Their distinctive brand of music, interesting techniques and use of instruments such as the horns and the didgeridoo have earned The Stone Revivals a name that equals “fresh & original” in the local music scene.

Formed 18 years ago, The Stoned Revivals (previously known as Handsome Tropical Cannibals in their first album), have come a long way. Most notable achievements include scoring 2 no.1 hit singles, “Goodil” and “Stoned Alleycat”, as well as contributing to Eric Khoo's movies “Mee Pok Man” & “12 Storeys”.

Esam & Syed Ahmad make up the core of The Stoned Revivals, and they work closely with sessionists to achieve different sounds for the band.
