The Auditory Effect

Born in early 2008, The Auditory Effect was a result of Adam & Jon's simple wish of wanting to “change the way local music is.” Their journey as a band hasn't been an easy one with line up changes and disagreements in music direction. But it was not until they met drummer Audrey and the unassuming Siong that The Auditory Effect began to take shape.

With influences from their “heroes”, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, U2 as well as local bands The Great Spy Experiment & Plainsunset, The Auditory Effect has grown from strength to strength. Penning bits and pieces of their lives into their music, The Auditory Effect plays a range of indie rock and electronica as well as a generous mix of dance tunes that will leave you tapping to the beat.
